Born on 9 February 2007 in Mobile, Alabama, he gained national recognition as a standout high school athlete at Saraland High School, where his exceptional receiving and scoring performances made him one of the country’s leading recruits. Williams joined Alabama in 2024 and made an immediate impact during his freshman season, recording 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight receiving touchdowns. His performances earned him Freshman All-American recognition and first-team All-SEC honours from conference coaches. He became particularly well known for his long touchdown reception against Georgia in September 2024, which helped Alabama secure a 41–34 victory.
